I need to retrofit some items to my vehicle. I need some information on the functions of the Celica Cruise Control Stalk/switch.

Anyone know where I might find this information?

Really need a wiring diagram for this. Any ideas?

There is a scanned version floating around but the quality is terrible and there is no way to do a text search. Grab something like this well worth the money.

I'm trying to retrofit a 3 wire stalk into a 4 wire stalk system. It started to smoke on me when just the horn was attached while I had it up on the alignment rack so im trying to figure out what the 4th wire does on the original system.

just use the 4 wire controller and figure a way to mount it. When I put a 7th gen steering wheel on my Supra, I used the Supra controller and mounted it so it fit in the wheel. Did the same for my 6th gen celica

Hmm... I could but this is actually on a corolla project. But I jacked the wheel from a 00-05 celica in the junkyard. The corolla 4 wire set up doesn't fit as the stalk is to short and the mounting holes aren't lined up. Also the body of the controller is to fat for the area its supposed to be in. I have it in there right now but its wedges in a little crooked.

I'm hoping the 3rd wire is an extra ground and not a signal wire but I haven't found any info.

Do they have a Complete Vehicle type of maunal they give to technicians from Toyota?
