Anyone sell their 2005 Tacoma?

Just out of curiosity, I'd like to know if anyone who has sold their 2005 Tacoma got fair market value for it (blue book private sale or trade-in)? Or did you take a major hit on it (sell it for less than the KBB or NADA price)?

I am thinking of selling mine. If so, I will have some items for sale:
  • DeeZee Factory Step-tubes (silver)
  • SB rubber bed mat (Toyota)
  • Neoprene seat-covers (Toyota)
  • Mini-tie downs (2 sets)
  • Scosche DIN install kit
Thank you in advance.

I wouldnt imagine you would take any large hit. These trucks have exceptional resale value:clap:

The high resale value is a double-edged sword. It is nice to have a vehicle that retains it's value. But I think most people would rather spend a couple thousand $$ more and get a new truck as opposed to the alternative.

However, high resale value is good in the event the vehicle should somehow get totalled.
That's funny you ask a question and then you dispute the answer even when it's in your favor???
Are you "Phishing":dunno: :dunno:

i lost 5000 on my 05 trade in. :ugh3:
I bought a 05 dbl cab long bed pre runner
with extras and sport package
for
$20,000 cash from an individual

Back in Sept. 06'

It had 20K miles on it.

He wanted like Blue book, Retail and no one was intrested.

Was trying to sell it for months.

We ended up setteling on a little less than private party value.

After thinking about a new Taco, and running the numbers I figured I saved about

$7000 after taxes and all the other stuff.

Items for sale

Hey Bill, I am interested in the
Parts for sale

Screwed up the last entry. Good luck with the sale of your truck. Just be realistic when you sell it yourself. You'll do well. I am interested in your bed mat, Scoche DIN kit and the mini tie downs. Let me know if you are still going to part these out. Thanks, Tom.
I thought about selling it and buying an '04. This truck is not what I thought it would be with all the quality issues.
My 06 stickered for $29k and six months later with 8k miles on it I got $26k trade in.
Ya it basically cost me three grand to drive a truck for six months untill the dealer got the color that I wanted.
