There are a ton of Apple Carplay : Android auto units out there. It is rather overwhelming. Can someone recommend an aftermarket unit for a 2015 Toyota Highlander Limited with Nav? I am looking for a unit that can allow me to keep all of the OEM funcationality.

Thanks

Mods, can we create a "carplay" sticky as this comes up weekly?

you only want the best ? lol
maybe put a price on it too.
I hve updated post. Sorry for the confusion. There are so many aftermarket units that it is overwhelming. I am basically looking for an Apple Carplay / Android auto unit that keeps all OEM functionality for my 2015 Highlander Limited with nav. I am looking for a unit that will allow me to keep the OEM navigation because I have been to areas with no cell coverage.

you can go this route: "portable carplay "units search on amazon. $100-$300 easy install like the portable gps of the past.keep existing unit for nav offline.
Aftermarket radios needs adapters about $200 iData link Maestro to communicate with canbus plus installation.
There is no current aftermarket radio with gps software, all rely on the phone app. you can use "here app" that is free and you can download all maps for no cell phone navigation.
you can buy an older unit with gps software but for sure these will not be updated in the future.
I would say for eye candy the portable carplay units are the best. I have 3 different brands and aftermarket radio.
