I'm considering getting a ARB bull bar for my soon to be here 2007 Tacoma DC off road.

For the guy's who've put on ARB bumpers, did you have to put OME's or Coil overs on or did the truck handle OK?

Thanks,
Spot

I had the coilovers before the bumper so can't comment on the before, but I've heard from a few guys that did the bumper first that the stock springs sag quite a bit, especially with a winch. At a minimum I'd suggest an upgrade to the OME 886's shortly after you install the bumper, and it's pretty much a necessity if you are going to run a winch. I've even heard one guy go as far as getting 700 lb coils installed on his SAWs coilovers after installing his ARB and winch. D-hoe and the SAWs typically use a 650 lb coil, the stock coils I believe are in the 580-590 range, could be less actually.

I have the arb and a 12,000 pound winch and I did notice the front drop about an inch i guess. the headlights are pointing lower than before but the truck handles fine even on some highspeed turns off road. I did order the Toytec 3" lift with 886 coils that I will install in the near future, when I get closer to affording new wheels and tires.
The nose is definately lower than before but not awkardly low

I called ARB today and they told me for the Taco (2007) DC they recommend 886 springs for a winch and bumper.

Sounds like the right mix.
