ATTN: Gen 5 and 6 owners! i need your help!

hey guys
im right now organizing our sticky section and im working on two seperate sections of gen 5 - 6 FAQs and general information....does anyone have any particular threads that they would like to add so that i can finish off the stickies and get the section organized? any help is much appreciated!

Grille Installation is one I get a lot of PM's on.

and there seem to be 100's of HID threads, over and over again.

thanks for the suggestions njerald...im going to seek out the good HID stuff and put it in to the DIY section
as for the grille install, ill poke around for a thread about it thats relevant and post it in gen 6

I would like to suggest locking these new threads just so they are only filled with information. I think it would make them much cleaner and easier for new people to search through to find the information that has been asked many times.

thats a good thread, but i cant really make it a sticky
we already have quite a few and itll piss people off if we have too many stickies taking up the viewing pane

JP vizage lip kit
4300k mod express HID kit
brembo ventelated rotors & hawk HPS pads up front
gen 5.5 SE taillights
yellow foglight caps courtesy of daddy milton
and...
TRD s/c from a tC :lol:

looks like you've already got my two diys.

maybe i'll do an tc S/C diy for you guys that want to get your s/c on. i should've taken pictures when i installed the s/c in my...

... dreams. i'll join the wannabe-s/c-club. haha.

on a more serious note, i've been pondering on some diys... like baking the tails to black out the insides, re-wired gen 5.0 tails (the upper light is a dedicated brake/stop light now) fog-light install diy (i already did the fogs, but i didn't take pics), full stereo install diy (i replaced the 6x9" with pioneers, got a headunit in, and wired a sub for 2008), 9006 hid shield diy (but too late on that obviously), and auto-shifter shift-boot diy. i just lazed out on myself by not taking pics while doing all of that unfortunately (except the taillight bake, which i haven't racked up the balls to do so yet). i've also been busy with school and whatnot.

actually, the shiftboot wasn't really that much of an effort:

and here's the results of the shield. the glare above it was reflection (it's been raining here):
