Hey guys im trying to buy some of these rims for when i put my 6'' on and there is a shop telling me that the moto metal 951 16x9's wont fit on 4wd tacos 05 +. 6 on 5.5 and 4.5 backspace wont work but ive seen plenty on tacomas and i moto metal is not aware of any problems.

any owners of these rims ever had problems installing?

with a 6" i think you have to run 17's or wheel spacers on the 16's

16's should fit fine on a 6'' lift the lift doesnt change the bore or the wheel. This is my first taco tho and unless there is something unusual about them you would think 16 fit fine on a 3'' they would sit fine on a 6''.
maybe im wrong tho thanks.

no it is different than a three inch, i forgot why but you have to run 17's with a six inch

its been discussed numerous times...I believe fabtech and procomp both say so...can't recall...search you shall see

I believe it can be done with a minimum of 1.25in spacers, something about the steering rod being moved
