Audio Prob

the other day i was driving then i heard a thump so i pulled over to check it out and when i poped the trunk i noticed my sub had fell out the box , so i figured maybe thats why it stoped working, then i went hope put some more screws in it and plug it baq in, i got a lil something but when ever i turn up the radio loud the bass out basically cuts out, does anyone have an explaination for it or any suggestions? i checked the ground, seems to be pretty tight but i dont know any input would be appreciated.

Maybe you have the gains too high and you're sending the amp into protection?

Did you recheck the speaker connections on the back of the sub? Maybe it's loose.
