Guys I read that the straight axle had an auto lock option 1 year only, 1985, and it was only offered on the SR5 Extended Cab nothing else...does anyone out ther know anything about this feature, did it exist, and is something like it available today.....???????? I Want !

It is true that Toyota offered these hubs from 03/84 thru 8/85 on SR-5 solid axle trucks. They were ok but unless you were very diligent as to removal,cleaning and lubing on a regular basis, they would fail to dis-engage sometimes. The manual hubs are pretty much bullet proof and easier to own.
