auto trans od question
I just aquired a MK1 automatic as a companion for my MK1 manual.
I notice that the auto will not shift into overdrive (4th gear) until it has driven about 6 to 8 miles. The previous owner said, yeah they do that.
Is this normal? I've never experienced this on other auto trans.
Just wondering if I have a shift solenoid on the way out or something.
