I have two types of ATF fluids in front of me..."Castrol Import Multi-Vehicle ATF for Toyota" and "Mobil 1 Syntetic ATF"...I obviously most likely should go with Castrol since it does say its for Toyota, but it bugs me that id does not say "Syntetic" on it. Which makes me think, wouldn't Mobil 1 be a better quality lubricant for the trans? Just want to get it straight...

Redline makes an ATF that is far superior to both of those IMO. and it's synthetic.
What type of ATF are you supposed to use? If your transmission doesn't use Dex III, don't use those.
To answer your question, if it doesn't say synthetic, it probably isn't.
