On delivery, both of my remote FOBs had the key ring attached to the removable key for the glove box door instead of the FOB itself.
With a key and a few of those annoying bar code supermarket/pet store/drug store tags, there's some mass to the ring and its attachments. I'm thinking with a small amount of pressure at the wrong time applied to the latch, it can separate from the FOB.
SO, there's a vestige on the corner of the FOB where I BELIEVE (IMO) the ring would be better attached, so as to not separate from the key?
I moved both of mine, as I'd rather loose only the glove box key vs. the expensive FOB if either should detach. I may never lock the glove box anyway...
