Has anyone heard about swapping an Gen1 Avalon front end on their (1992)Gen3? My brother-in-law got into an accident and smashed the hood, fender, headlights, and bumper. the fram rails are ok. I also got a wicked sick deal on a 1996 Avalon for $450. The interior is shot and the ass of the car was hit before and fixed poorly

Don't just look, give me some info/thoughts/anything

I'm sure it could be done, not easily or worth it probably.

I think the Avalon front end would look terrible on a camry. I think it looks bad to start, but that's my opinion bro!

you could, or you could just go to the junk yard and get a front end for probably less than 200, and be done with it

thanks bro but I tend to just go with it lol this requires the same amount of work as the es300 swap. If I didn't have the kit on the wagon now i would definantly do this swap to it :chug:

give it that VIP BAWS look :smokin:

I actually like this. I thought it would look bad at first but then I realized Camrys and Avalons look a lot alike.

Pretty unique actually.

Is he planning to paint it? Car right now is like frankenstein or dr jekly hyde lol.

I'm looking at this at work, thinking to myself that shouldn't happen.. haha. Looks good! How's the meet up at the fender and the door? I know that's where problems arise on the ES300 Front end swap. How about the hood? Does it work with the Camry hinges? Anyway keep us updated, I love unique stuff like this!
