I recently changed phones from a Samsung Galaxy S7 to a Galaxy S10e. Today while driving my 2013 Avalon Limited I was amazed to have 2 incoming personal emails read aloud to me. I am used to having text massages read while in the car, but emails have never been read before. I found nothing in the Avalon Navigation manual or in the phone or car settings about emails being read aloud and haven't found anything online after a Google search.

Has anyone else encountered this? It's obviously not a problem -- only emails from a person are read, not junk emails -- but I'm just curious how it happened.

Just bought a '16 Avalon Limited and it will read email on the Samsung native email client, great feature. I also have Outlook email on phone but Avalon does not recognize or read from that app. Phone is a Galaxy S8+.
