I'm considering buying an '06 Tacoma.....does anyone know how to determine what the axle ratio is while looking at a truck on the dealer lot?

It should say on the window sticker. I don't know that you have the option to change it though with Toyota. The stock ratio is pretty good anyways because you get a 5 speed. Finally Toyota got their head out of their ass and made a 5 speed.

My Double Cab 4x4 has 3.73's. I think the only 4x4's that have 4.10's are the ones with the 5 (five) speed manual transmission. The 6 (six) speed manuals and 5 (five) speed auto's are 3.73's.
