I haqve both a 82 and a 85 toyota front alxe, abd also a dana 44 out of a wagoneer which I was told by some toyota 4x4 guys that are local would be best to use because I wouldne have to use spacers on the front wheel hubs and are that right width from the start. Which way do I go guys ??????

While the 85 axle has a bit more factory gusseting, don't make that a major factor in deciding. There is plenty of additional gussets that can be added to any Toyota solid front axle to beef it up.
If your D44 is from a FSJ Wagoneer, the diff is going to be on the wrong side. Great for a Taco SAS, but not for a mini.
The Toy axle would be the best choice, there is tons of aftermarket SAS kits and parts to make swapping it in a piece of cake, even if you have minimal metal working skills. But there is still a lot of cutting/grinding/welding required no matter what you choose.
