Hi. Grew up around Toyotas. Parents owned a Cresida, Corona, and a 4-Runner.

My first car was a 1996 Acura Integra GSR which I threw in a ton of money and turned into a street legal track car running a Greddy Turbo on a rebuilt engine and full suspension setup (sways, JIC, Ingalls, Spoon, roll cage, etc) and HID kit with stereo system.

Sold that car to buy a house and get married. Bought a 1985 Celica as temp replacement.

Bought a 2003 Yamaha R6 with some minor mods (exhaust, intake, fender eliminator, flushed signals, Power Commander)

Bought a 2004 Yamaha Vino 125 with no mods.

Now with a 2004 Honda Accord EX V6 Sedan with S2000 HID retrofit and suspension and stereo setup, and some engine mods.

Getting really tired with the Accord having to visit the dealer for warranty work so often (4 times). Really noticed the cost saving measures used and not very happy with it. Really should have spent $2k more and gotten the Camry or $5k more for the Mercedes.

Time to buy a new car for my wife. She has a Corolla but time to upgrade to a 2007 Rav4 maybe. Definitely don't want to get the first year's model. Plans to upgrade this to get more power, TL or S2000 HID retrofit, tube bars front, back and side, PIAA fog lights, stereo upgrade, tow hitch, cargo bot on top, upgrade suspension to handle more load, etc.

Been following the 2006 Rav4. Saw the live webcast at 9:00am. Went to the Moscone Center for the SF International Auto Show. Really Really Really disappointed that Toyota did NOT bring the Rav4, Yaris nor the Cruiser. Now I'll have to wait till mid Dec to actually see the Rav4 in person.

Yup. Just looking at other Toyota sites and waiting for the Rav4 to get release so I can finally see it in person.
