I have a 2015 Corolla LE, took it to the shop and they did a smoke test and there were no leaks so they told me I needed a new evap canister (which is in the back by the rear drivers side tire.) My car is has 3 CEL codes P1604, P2420, P0441. Do you think replacing the evap canister will clear all these codes? I do smell gas when the car is running and the fuel economy is much lower.

Hello,

It's very possible. On your car, the canister pump module, which includes the pressure sensor, leak detection pump, and vent valve, is attached to the canister. A faulty EVAP canister can make the vehicle hard to restart after refueling, which could trigger code P1604. There is a TSB for the canister and code P2420, which you can find here: T-SB-0024-15 Toyota Technical Service Bulletin
