I've been reading around the nation for suggestions on subs and sub enclosures. A couple of times I read that people got more bass out of their aftermarket door speakers by simply sealing and deadening their doors making the door like a sub-enclosure. No one really went into detail on how to do it. Can anyone explain it, or point me to a thread where its explained?

I just covered the big hole with a sheet of ABS plastic then just covered over the small holes with the RaamMat dampener.

Take the door panel off and look at the door. You'll figure something out. It's not that hard.

Vibration is wasted energy. Anytime you can stop vibration you will improve the quality and volume of your speakers output.

Unless you build an enclosure behind the woofer you cannot totally seal the door, but sealing up big holes will help your bass a little. And also cut down road noise.
