My battery light on my '93 camry keepsd coming on and off. Mostly stays on though. Does this necessarily means that it is the alternator or it could be the battery too because i have a small battery so i wonder if that could be the prob?

it's your alternator. remove the alternator and take it to a part store so they can bench test it(make sure to take it to two different stores that way you'll know they are not bsing you)
