Hi,

Did anyone have any problems with the batteries, having to replace them?
Especially in early models of Camry?

I have heard of little as far as battery replacements on the 1st gen TCH. They are quite reliable, as are the prius ones.

The same battery is used in the 2G & 3G Prius, Prius v, Prius c (modified to fit the smaller car), Camry, CT200h and HS250h. (I believe the HiHy and RXh use a flatter design instead of the rectangular box).

I'm not sure what the GSh and LSh use. They're NiMH, yes but I don't know if it's the same battery as the other cars or whether it's a different company or setup.

Because it's usually the one that people are concerned with when they buy a hybrid.

I have the original Camry Hybrid 2007. Never had a problem. 80,000 miles on it.

I have almost 118,000. on my 07 TCH with original battery. I am wondering how long they are suppose to last. Have had no problems so far.
