I know this isn't a subject often hit upon in this forum if ever but I am just looking for any advice at all on the retractable bed cover market.
After doing some research I am currently set on the Roll-N-Lock M-series. It has aluminum slats with a vinyl "rag-top" covering and locks to the tailgate. It's a bit pricey at around $1200 but the company has been around for a while and I have read good reviews of it.
I am going with retractable because I use my bed quite often but when I will need the cover it will need to be secure. I really couldn't stand the thought of the freakin' button down or velcro pieces of junk either. I am new here and if anyone has any info on the subject it would be appreciated. Thanks

You may have found this out already, but keep in mind many of the first-gen Tundra bed covers will fit the T100 bed with little to no modification. The bed dimensions (length, width) are almost identical. My father-in-law has one of the solid flip-up bed covers (with the dampers to hold it up) on his T100 and it came straight off a Gen1 Tundra. Just something to add a few more options to the list.
