New to body work. Does anybody know were i can get patch panels for the bed above the wheel wells . I know ford amd chevy make them not sure for imports, or if anybody has a better idea, no plastic fuller if i can help it..
You can get complete bed sides from places like Hannemann Fiberglass but if the damage is bad enough, i would recomend getting a whole new bed. I found mine for $500 and it saved me hours of repair work.
Will consider replacing whole bedside, or if anybody got any used parts close PA need front fenders too. Any other companys out there that make fenders??
I got my fenders from here http://www.keystone-auto.com/bodyshops/body-panels.html and was able to pick them up locally. They are CAPA certified, quality fenders for like $65. You have to register to look parts up on line but you can locate the local distributer and call them.
You can get entire beds, bed sides, floor pieces, bulkheads, tailgates, whatever from here https://www.1sttoyotaparts.com/partscat.htm. They don't have the repair patches to weld in like you are looking for. I ended up getting a used one too. You might possibly find a damaged bed in one of the salvage yards with good wheel well openings you could cut out and weld in but I would think it would be a long shot.
I bought Toyota bed patch panels at JC Whitney...reasonable. They were for late 80's, so the floor ridges were slightly smaller...but if you replace the whole bed floor it wouldn't matter.
