Ok so I finally saved up enough money to do my E135 swap!!!:naughty: But there's one thing thats holding me back from buying the tranny and doing the swap. I know that the e135 off a mr2 are rwd, So how do I go about with the shift linkage?? And I know getting one off an all-trac is not an option. they are too rare

have you considered one from a gen4 camry/ gen1 solara. many people say the gearing is a little better then the early e153s. you shoudl just be able to get the linkage for a 92-93 e153 since they were avalible on the SE.

Not really, I didn't think the transmission would bolt up. Well knowing this will probably make my job a whole lot easier. So if I use a gen4 camry/ gen 1 solara, all I need is the gen4 passenger side axle right? I can reused my gen 3 driver axle?

no, you can't reuse either axle except for the passenger-side outer axle. you'll need a new half-shaft on the passenger's side and a whole new 5-speed driver's side axle as well.

ok I see. well thnx to you guys alot. I didn't even know about using the gen4 tranny until now, and now my swap seems a little easier knowing these facts. Thanx again for the infos. I'll let you guys know the outcome once the swap is done. Maybe by spring break:clap:
