I am new to this forum and likely about to be a first time Toyota P/U owner.
Looking at a low miles '92. It is a basic option package 5-sp 2WD and I would like to look into putting bucket seats in. Assuming stock toyota replacemetns, is this something fairly easy for the typical home mechanic? What year donor trucks have compatible seats?
Assuming the years covered in this forum.
Thanks for any helpfull advice

you can put any toyota seat really, but if you just want to losen 4 bolts lift, insert, tighten 4 bolts, then youll want a seat from a 89 to 95 toyota truck or 4 runner (4runner starts in 90). Other seats may require drilling holes and using nuts.

I used seats out of a 92 Toyota Celica GT donor car.. You could probably go with just about any set you want.. There are already holes drilled out in the truck for buckets.. measuere the distance front and back for each side.. go to the bone yard and find a set that are compaitable

Ooohh...now there is an idea. I don't plan on making this a race truck but I bet those would be comforatable and have nice support.
Thanks.
