How are you launching? 15.3? on an auto with only catback and intake? best i ever got out of the v6 auto solara when i still had it was [email protected] that's with k&N panel and WS catback. I don't think the 17s and slight wheelhop would make that much of a difference between our times, or would it?paradizecityz said:well here my repost since other thread is locked and no one reads it lol
i have 98 camry le v6 auto, short ram intake, catback exhaust
was doin fun runs with my friend
1/4 mile = [email protected] mph
0-60 = 7.63
but i had my system(box, amp, subs) and spare tire in so ill get a better run in next time when i take those out and doin real runs instead of fun ones, ite thats me

hehe, sorry. I meant the 17" wheels on my car. I wonder if the slight weight increase in my wheels plus the wheelhop I get when launching would make my car a whole 0.5 second slower than your car. Maybe Texas humidity is much nicer than here on the East Coast. Anyway, awesome time for having your system and spare tire in the car.paradizecityz said:i dont kno lol
and wat u talkin about when u say 17s??
ah ok, thanks, i really dont kno wats the difference, but next time im gonna see wat i run without spare and system :thumbup:Eggroll said:hehe, sorry. I meant the 17" wheels on my car. Not sure about all of the gens, but I know that a 3rd gen SE v6 manual was tested new in the high 15s-flat 16 range. The 4th gen in the best that I know of. 15.8 stock, even with auto. That's with a really good launch. (that stat came from an actual test in MT) It is faster than most of the other cars in its class, i.e. accord, taurus, ect.bowlofturtle said:question: how fast are stock camry's suppose to run on the average, all the gens?
what is done to ur cam....thats pretty quick to run low 14s.......1fastLE said:I think it would be cool if we all posted our best 1/4 mile times in our camrys. If you have other cars to, go ahead and post them if you've ran them.

No. Only my transmission is from a 3sge. Well that and my ACT Clutch I guess. I went with the 3sfe becaue it has more torque, still makes decent power, has a better powerand, is cheap, and is easy to install. I have no doubts i can make it perform extremely well NA for little money(relatively).1fastLE said:
Tailsman, I was under the impression that you were running a GE.
