Try LeBra

Why does the amazon sites say it doesn't fit the corolla?

Don't use the amazon.com compatibility checker drop down box.
Use the manufacturer's: http://www.global-accessories.com/products/index.phtml?prod_id=lebra&cust_id=global

In amazon, it says that the LeBra model I bought doesn't fit my S...well that's funny, I ordered it, received it, and installed it...and it fits perfectly fine.

but if you buy it direct off Global Accessories, their price is crazy, they list retail for US92.99 and yes free shipping but still over price.
I guess I didn't make myself clear.

1) Don't use the amazon.com compatibility checker.
2) Use the Global compatibility checker.
3) When you get the Le Bra part number, jot it down.
4) Go to amazon.com and search for the part number you got from step 2 and 3.
5) Buy the Le Bra from amazon.com for $43 including free shipping and no tax. Don't buy the Le Bra from Global, otherwise, you'll pay atleast twice the price vs amazon.

I bought my Le Bra for our 2008 S from amazon...the part number is 551005-01 according to step #2 and 3. I then went to amazon.com and put "551005-01" in the amazon search field. Don't use the amazon.com LeBra compatibility checker...that's inaccurate. Use the Global compatibility checker.
Alpine is right, just Google in 55959-01...Only problem is all the sites say its for a Corolla S but none show you how it actually would look on a corolla, they have it on random photo's of other cars
I can take photos of my wife's '08 Corolla S with the LeBra I got from amazon. I'll post 'em here.
I will post my when I put on as well, if nobody got ahead of me , just stupid snow still come down, I don't have time to wax my car before I put it on :naughty:

Make sure you get the right part numbers for your year, make, and model car from Global...then search for the part number in amazon and buy it from there. Here are photos for my wife's '08 Corolla S:
