Or I did hear of but just don't really know much about their quality. Anyways I was looking to drop my 92 Camry somewhere around 2" and I was wondering which brand has the best ride comfort? I'm not really looking for a performance handling type drop but more just for looks and ride comfort. I've seen aerospeed, intrax, dropzone, etc. Did a seach but didn't really come up with much. Thanks in advnce.
steves ride was about perfect. and i could totally tell his car was lowered. besides the loose swaybar bushing clanking around during hard cornering, the car felt great.soundlzrd said:Personally, i like the vogtlands best. good drop great ride as long as you have tokicos.
Jon, steve has eibach, what did you think of his ride?
I had the KYBs and they just suck. I blew them in less than a year. The tokicos are a much better product._VVTi_ said:how does vogtland pair up with KYB GR2? will the KYB will be too soft?
So you had the KYBs with the Vogtland springs?soundlzrd said:I had the KYBs and they just suck. I blew them in less than a year. The tokicos are a much better product.
Rapeacivic said:I was very happy with the way that my H&R and Tokico setup handled:thumbup: But the drop on the H&R's is not much(Only 1.25" drop) I have a set of new sprngs on the way so we'll see how that goes
Thats correct i did. The tokicos are stiffer but everyone that rides in my car perfers the ride with tokicos cause there is less bouncing around._VVTi_ said:So you had the KYBs with the Vogtland springs?
Or you just had KYBs with stock springs?
I went with KYB because it was my mom's car, and she preferred a more comfy ride, and I heard that Tokico gives a really stiff ride. So that was the reason for KYB.... I did consider Monroe... but they are just too "Buick" ... if you know what i mean.
But if it was my car, I would go for Tokico...
when you mentioned KYB + i4 Eibach drop... did you mean you used i4 springs for your V6?Eye8Pussies said:I wouldn't worry about blowing the struts as much as the bouncy ride.....
and remember if it bounce's too much, it's not safe either....you could hit a big bump and lose traction
and for the record, I haven't had any problems w/ my kyb+i4 eibach drop even after 2yrs.....
