its still gonna be just as hard to swap a 3VZ in like it will be to swap a 1MZ in.
Plus 1MZ "technically" has more aftermarket support, although I'm in the school of thought that says Gen 3s are at least 13 calendar years old so its just as expensive to swap a block in as it is to just buy a V6 to replace the I4. So why not do that?
