early 90's 300Z !!! the body styling is timeless
Choices
1. Honda s2k with fiberglass top, I hate convertibles.
2. Mazda rx7
3. Toyota Supra Turbo
used 2004 subaru
Pontiac GTO
Yeah, wanted too, but they tend to be closer to the 20 grand range sadly......
1) GTO 2004 can be had at ~$16-18k
2) 1989-1992 Toyota Supra
3) Nissan 240sx (SR20DET a plus)

4) 1999 Porsche Boxster
5) S2000

Having a rear seat is a must for me....so this is my order.
uhh mazda miata with a 13bt wankel rotary? lol
Rotary can suck my fat one.

Well i will keep my eye out for a cheap GTO, or just wait a while for the price to drop again. I'm patient.
^ u dont have a fat one...
Gto's are cool tho. cept u still gotta show me up drifting :naughty: when u gets ur rwd car
You can have one incredible Miata for $10-15k, An FD could be a nice find, but the nice ones are still a little north of $15k, I'm partial to the good ole AE86, though that's not a fast car by any means (more of a "true" sports car by my standards).

It also depends on your definition of sports car. You can make a phenomenally nice, decent handling fox-body mustang for $10k (4.6L straight-axle Cobras are right in that range, too), a Turbo Mk II Mr2 can easily be found for less than $10k if you're more into that whole mid-engine business, I'm sure you could find all sorts of MG GTs, MGBs, Alfa roadsters, etc, etc

You could pick up a very clean C4 Corvette, or a beat-up C5.

ooh... maybe an IS300? That's more sport-sedan, but still nice.

$10-15k is a hard range to fill... everything I can think of is either old enough to be in the $5 range, or new/rare enough to be much more.
1) youre a ****
2) RWD is ftl, AWD is ftw
3) Hint: its not a Honda, or a Toyota

Get a 69 GTO, they're badass.
I was thinking the Porsche Boxster... the mid engine setup is supposed to have great handling. You could probably find a higher mileage 350Z or even G35 coupe for around $15k. Maybe even older BMW 3 series.

I thought the Boxter was front? The Caymann is rear....
^ i think it is front midship like the S2k where the engine is behind the front axle.
Honda S2000 + a Supercharger = very nice
lol, nice if you like 2 blown diffs and a blown tranny. My cousin had one that was supercharged, the s2k cant handle it without supoorting mods, ie diff and tranny.

E36 M3's are nice and you can find one in that price range.

Damn expensive to get horsepower out of though unless you are fine with 220 to the wheels.
