granted, im assuming that 6X9's are built to work in free-air applications, like in rear decks.

but im wondering, if u were able to baffle them correctly, while still in the rear deck, wuld u get better bass response?

i think BMW has sumthin like that with their 8" rear speakers. theyr virtually sealed boxes mounted in the rear deck.

imagine if u culd mount sealed boxes in the rear deck for the 6X9's, would they have more bass?

There are a lot of bass from infinity and pioneer 6x9s, sounded like I had a small 10" in the back. (Based on my personal experience and what others have told me.) ALL aftermarket 6x9s will give out alot of bass, especially when you amp them.

BUT NOTHING can replace a small sub though. I'm giving ~300W RMS to this OLD P1 12" sub and its pounding!!
