Taking off the front mud flaps was the first thing I did. And that did not entirely take care of the rubbing. Turning sharp while braking (like when backing out of or goint into a driveway) resulted in slight rubbing both in forward and reverse. The 5100's finally took care of it.Just take off your splash guards, that will eliminate any rubbing you get.
So it sounds like there is no rubbing with the factory wheels. I guess the new wheels with a -6 offset are to blame for the rubbing in my case then?I am stock except for the BFG ATs 265/75/R16. No rubbing at all. No pic yet but it looks good![]()
I don't have either TRD package to answer your one concern.
Maybe someone can confirm my observations about thhese tires on stock wheels. I've even been wheeling and didn't notice anything other than the friggin' mud flaps scraping over everything. The mud flaps don't have any flap to them!So it sounds like there is no rubbing with the factory wheels. I guess the new wheels with a -6 offset are to blame for the rubbing in my case then?

Taller than stock. Stock is about 30.5". 265/75/16 is about 31.6"~32" depends on brand. How tall are these tires (is it stock dimensions)? 31"?
