Just out of curiosity... don't really have the funds to mod so I'm just planning (dreaming:p: )

What's the biggest wheels + tires that will fit a '05 Corolla?

Are these two sizes going to fit properly?
205/50/17 and 215/40/18

What about a 235/35/18? A rare combo so there are few tires available for that size... but it would have the exact same rotational diameter as my stock tires (185/65/15)

What about with lowering? Has anyone experienced rubbing against the guards or steering problems with 18" wheels and lowering?

And btw, if anyone has any pics of 05' Corollas with big wheels, please post them in this thread.

Thanks.;)

an Ideal size is probably 215/45 (which im running currently) or a 205/40, as for the 18's im not sure the right size. these tires will give you the closest diameter to stock, keeping your speedo correct. heres my 04 with 17s and 215/45's. Check the link in my sig for more pics.

How much lowering have you done?

Those 17" wheels fill the wheel wells nicely... but do they rub?
