black grill surround

ok so a while back people were asking about a black surround and werent having any luck, i just sanded mine sprayed it sanded and clear coated it. here are the results..and very soon gonna do the bhlm :thumbsup:
also might as well show the new tint, 5 on the back 20 on the sides and 35 on the front :) love it

you should also hit Sockmonkey up and do the black vinyl on the lower bumper. it would look :smokin:

Easy to do. I did mine w/ 3M texture coat...still haven't posted pics been busy..lol! I will soon!

i didnt take any pics unfortunately but i took 120 grit dry sandpaper sanded the surround and the actual grill. washed it let it dry nicely then coated it twice, once with primer then once with the color i wanted, allowing it to dry in between. then i took 1500 wet sandpaper went through and made sure all the rough spots were smoothed out. washed, dried. sprayed another 2 times. then i took 2000 wet sandpaper, went through lightly and just sanded the whole grill. then i took clear coat. 1 coat then 2000 sand and wash then 1 more coat and waited for it to dry and put it back on.
