Has anyone added those little blind spot mirrors to you OEM side mirrors? If so do they help?

Yes, they do help, but then again you could always look over your shoulder too. :)

Most of the time I look over my shoulder but still seem to have a blind spot.
I've got a small, round mirror on my left side mirror - works great.

Honestly, if your mirrors are set properly, you won't have a blindspot. Most of us were taught to set the mirror where you can just see the rear side of the car, and that is wrong.

To set your left mirror, lean your head against the side window and then adjust the mirror so the left rear of the car is just out of sight. Lean an equal distance to the right to set the other mirror.

It's unnerving to drive with the mirrors set like this (and I still have my spot mirror "crutch"), but you will see the first time a car passes you that it will pass from your rear view mirror to your side mirror seamlessly.

The proper procedure is posted here:

Good luck!

As a supplement for improved visibility they work well - especially with the high belt line that restricts the view of wheels position to curbs when parallel parking.
Yes, I do. In fact, I got used to having that little 2 1/2" round side view mirror that, without it, I feel I am missing something. It won't help much with lane chaning at night with lost of traffic so I still have to turn my head for a quick look. But during the day, it helps quite a bit and I have bird's eye view of my surrounding.

 I've had my mirrors setup this way for years and it definitely is the best setup.
