Have an 07 Tacoma 2.7cu in I4 (2TR-FE engine) and a Toyota (#00213-02141) frost plug heater bought from Toyota Canada.
The instructions that came with the heater doesn't list which frost plug it goes into. Believe it's on the right side but not sure which of the three possible positions it goes into. Some holes are sure easier to get to than others.
Can you identify which hole and which element direction is the proper one??? Have searched the forums - No help. Lots of 4.0 cartridge install info only.
If you have installed one of these, how'ed the install go?
Thanks
bob...

i did a bit of looking and could not find a pic for i4 but maybe this will help some?

I live in Omaha, NE and none of the Toyota dealerships here seemed to have a clue. I called Burnsville Toyota from Minnesota and purchased over the phone the block hearer element that slides into the receptacle located near the starter mount (Drivers side-back). It was about $47 plus shipping. Lube the thing first, slide it in and clip it to the block (clip attached), and route the cord through the front.
