alot of people have asked me and i am quite curious myself cause i have no clue.

Can you put a BOV on a stock engine?

If so, would it serve any use?

thanks

Yes if its a stock turbo or supercharged (centrifigual) engine.

No on a n/a (naturally aspirated) engine.

A bov would serve no purpose on a n/a engine cos theres no positive pressure (boost) to be blown off.

other then the fact that the fake bov's are just sad...is there really a problem with them? can you actually tell the car isnt turbo'd?
1. They don't sound real. Theres some sound clips on a site that makes / sells them.

2. Their expensive. You can buy a real bov for the same price.

3. Turbochargers make a unique high pitched whining sound. Sounds kinda like a tornado. Drive next to a turbo diesel semi truck and you'll know what I mean. :)
