My grandma's 87 wagon's brake lights are always on(including the 3rd barke light). Thier on even when the key is out of the ignition. Only way to turn them off is by disconnecting the battery.
Everything works as usual, headlights, turn signals, reverse, etc. although the radio only turns on, but no sound comes out any of the speakers.
Could these two be related?.
