Howdy, any tricks to removing the front brake rotor? It is not sliding off and I need to replace the wheel studs. I should be able to access the wheel lug studs once the rotor is off, right? Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Car is a 91 turbo (for sale). Thanks. Rob

Caliper is off, along with the brake pad holding thingy. I thought then the rotor would just slide off but it's being stubborn. There are two small holes in the rotor, 180 degrees apart and a threaded hole in the center of the hub. I'm thinking that it may require a puller but the FSM doesn't say anything about a puller or a special tool. Thanks. Rob

Same here. Just replaced mine after about 150k and they practically fell off into my hands. I think you might just have some rust or something holding them on there. A little elbow grease should do the trick.
