You can switch to the turbo model brakes.... which is dual piston calipers in the front.... and the rears seem to be the same. They changed the turbo brakes in '93 and made them a little bit better... but you will need a min. of a 15" wheel to fit those. You could always go with a big brake kit (not that you need it... especially not for NA)... but that will run you a couple thousand. I am happy with my 91 turbo brake swap.... i picked up the 4 calipers (didn't know that only the fronts were different... switched them anyways) 4 rotors, and 4 sets of pads for $200 shipped to my door. All of it was in very nice condition.... that would probably be your best bet for price and performance.
What pads are you using?

I would suspect that a caliper rebuild kit from Toyota and some Porterfield pads would be more than enough ;)
don't forget to add some stainless steel brake lines to the mix too.....
