Brand of Shocks for Replacement?

I see Bilstein shocks are around $91-95 each. If I'm interesting in the
shocks lasting a long time but not necessarily high performance, is
Bilstein still the only option? (Konis are even MORE expensive).

I have Monroe Sensa-Trac shocks. They only cost 40 bucks for two. Monroe is quite good for longevity.
Koni's are more expensive because they are built for performance and have adjustable damping.

Bilstein is a reputable brand and should give you what you're looking for.
