Alright guys I need a few opinions on this one. I have never had a shock make a sound like what one of mine is doing now. When my rear passenger side shock compresses and extends it makes a kind of strange noise (to me anyways). It sounds as though it is sucking in and releasing air. I've heard shocks make a similar noise but never this loud and it is only one of them. With just the slightest shake of the truck you can here it very well.

Any thought? Is it damaged in anyway? Or could it be some kind of contamination from the all of the salt on the road? One more thing, Other than flat farm fields it hasn't been off of the pavement yet.

My left rear went at 500 miles , pos.Dealer replaced it quickly ,is it leaking fluid?

I couldn't see any last night, but I didn't have time to take the wheel off or crawl around under it. I'm changing my oil this weekend and rotating the tires so I will be able to take a better look at it then.

Take it to the dealership, and get em replaced under warranty.

I really like the Donahoe res shocks, but they're $200 each.
