Has anyone used RCA cables with built in remote turn on wire? See here:

I dunno it just seems kinda shady to me. I know that usually you can run remote turn on wire along with the RCA cables since the wire carries so little current, but would building the wire straight into the RCA cable make a difference?

It just seems a bit too moronic to be true to me... just plug in RCA cables and go... no extra remote turn on wire needed?

I prefer to run a regular remote turn on wire. I have a kit from them but when I tried using the wire from the RCAs, it didn't turn on my amp. Possibly because I was working on my system in the middle of the winter at temperatures below freezing. Either way though, I still would suggest not using those because the wire isn't as thick as normal remote turn on wire, which could possibly lead to some problems, like daisy chaining it.

That's weird. No go huh? So I'm trying to picture this in my head... basically the wire is stuck right next to the RCA cable? Or is it one cable with the remote wire and the RCA wire splitting at the end?

there's like a wire.. kind of hidden in the part that holds the pair of RCAs together... I suggest just getting regular remote turn on wire... not like it costs much anyway.
