Well i thought i needed a new place to put stuff in my truck cause i have a short bed, so i decided to build rack that i can take off when i need to and also keep stuff in the bed safe. its made of 1 inch square steel with a steel mesh on top, also a little bit of diamond plate to protect my air compressor for my air horns. The thing is pretty strong, i hauled 150#'s of gear last week end, and me and my bro stood on it, 325#'s total.

Thanks, i dont have any pics of the bolts holding it down, but i simply ran a bolt straight down with some washers and secured it.

I decided to paint it flat black to match the bed, it took over a week with all the coats of paint i put on it. NO chance of rust here!!

most of that metal was scrap from a friends work. but new. it was probably only 60 to 80 dollars total.
