I have a '97 v6 1MZFE and am getting a cylinder 5 misfire code. The only thing that seems different in how the car drives is that the engine seems to rev up a little more when accelerating in a low gear, but otherwise there is no noticeable difference. I just wanted to ask if this behavior narrows down the cause, before going through the hassle of taking off the plenum to check the plug. Thanks for the help in advance.
