Calendar activation

Does anyone have any suggestions on activating the calender on the GPS model xle 2011 Camry, I have tried to activate with my I-phone and a borrowed Androd, nothing works. My dealer is no help and only suggest what I have tried.

Thanks, any help would be appreciated.
