A simple job that just became more complicated!:headbang: The top bolt on my caliper snapped at the head. I need to remove the caliper for replacement. I see there are four bolts that seem to hold the caliper halves together. Anyone ever do this? Does the caliper halves come apart easily once the bolts are removed?

Just an update. I removed the four bolts and the caliper separated in half. There are two rubber o-rings at the top and bottom to let brake fluid pass to outside half of caliper. Easy to remove from bracket after that. Had to drill the frozen bolt to the threaded area of bracket and then use a chisel to get remainder out. (chiseled to unscrew remainder). I will reassemble with anti-seize on the caliper bolt threads for easy removal in the future.
