I want to order some parts, it looks there is 2 model 2357CC 144 cu.in I4 & 2362CC I4. How do I know which one is mine?
Thanks
Is this a non US market Camry? I thought the US market only had one 4 cyl (2AZ-FE, 2.4L, 2362cc,144.2 cu.in.) and one 6 cyl. (1MZ-FE, 3.0L, 2994cc, 182.7 cu. in.).
In any case there should be a sticker under the hood like this:

I had the same question just now so PVT-Public thanks for your reply. I have the sticker on the hood, it does read 2.4 on it, however the 2AZ-FE is all the way at the bottom of the sticker and stands alone without referencing what it is. Thankfully you asked a question of your own when responding along with your thoughts on it, so I was able to put 2&2 together.
I don't know what the OP was looking for, but I too was searching for parts online and the trim question asks which specific engine you have (2357cc or 2362cc) when ordering a replacement flex pipe to header for my '04 Camry.

It was said somewhere in the 2AZ-FE life that it got a slight increase in compression ratio or something like that which most likely corresponds with:
  • 2002 - 2006 2AZ-FE
    • Head bolt stripping
  • 2006 - 2009 2AZ-FE
    • Poor piston head design
When did they make the change? ?‍♀
