Not to be a Njerald, but this has been discussed ad nauseum....do a little search and enjoy the reading.

BTW: I use 89 in my SE V6.

I use 87 without any problems. The user's manual says you can also.

We run 87 with no problems. Plenty of power and great gas mileage.
