Any suggestion have a 1991 camry all trac that when slowing down notice the engine surging up and down , and does this at a idle some time have tighten the large screen on top of the throttle body next to the firewall and seems to stop it at a idle but still when slowing down , can not find any vacuum leaks
Have gotten help by a member named charlie before on a wire harness hitting the EGR tube he seemed very knowledgeable hope he still around , but thanks for any suggestions

Normal. There is a specific operating condition that with the foot off the gas and coasting around 30mph the engine surges due to the vacuum system that is hooked up to the AWD system. It's weird but nothing is wrong.

If it is an auto, there is no extra vacuum system for the Alltrac - the center diff locking is electronically controlled. The slight surging when coasting in the auto is still normal though. Around 30mph, like you said. Coasting (not on brakes) in 3rd or 4th gear while the engine is near idle. Any other time (accelerating, cruising, at idle, etc.) indicates some problem.
