If you go back a number of years - there was a Camry AWD.

Seems that sales volume didn't justify continued production.

Can anyone advise, in general unless you have a fear of getting bogged,
what's the point? My wife has a mobile phone box on wheels (Holden Cruze...
god knows who built it) with AWD, it has such a short wheelbase & high CG
you wouldn't push your luck with its handling anyway. Really hard to tell
how the awd helps.

Uh huh, so no one knows why you'd want an AWD anything... except a
Landrover.

Any idea when Toyota will make a Camry AWD version?
I just saw a new Camry while vacationing in Puerto Rico last week that had a AWD insignia on the trunklid. It was a 6 cylinder, as it had dual exhaust, and also had "ground effect" cladding down low, kinda like the sport model. I was just on the Kelly Blue Book site www.kbb.com but could not find any mention of it. What goes on?
